While these are generally the fastest kind of RC boats, they are also typically the most expensive and make the most noise, as well as being larger. The trade-off is that over the long run, you'll recoup that extra expense since gasoline is a cheaper fuel to use than is nitro.
Before you go ahead and get one of the more expensive models, its probably best to test the waters with a cheaper off the shelf model that runs on electricity.
